TrendHR is partnering with a highly respected Dallas-Fort Worth law firm to hire an experienced Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy team of litigation attorneys handling sophisticated business disputes.

This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional who enjoys working on complex commercial matters, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently manage multiple attorneys and cases with minimal supervision.

You'll become a key member of a collaborative litigation team handling high-profile matters from inception through trial.

What You'll Do

• Support multiple commercial litigation attorneys throughout all phases of litigation
• Draft, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and trial documents
• Prepare filings in Texas state and federal courts, including TexFile and PACER
• Manage litigation calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial schedules
• Coordinate document production, exhibits, trial notebooks, and witness files
• Prepare attorneys for mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trials
• Maintain organized electronic and physical case files
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant or Litigation Paralegal experience
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a sophisticated law firm environment
• Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and litigation deadlines
• Experience with Texas state and federal court filings
• Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including:
• Table of Contents
• Table of Authorities
• Complex document formatting
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority cases
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
